Brook Farm is ideally suited for an exclusive day for a small group of Fly /fishers. The fishery will provide fishing for up to 10 Rods, but half that number is far more exclusive, and so we apply a minimum fee equivalent to 5 Rods, and any additional Rods above 5 are each charged extra. In this way, a group of fishers can enjoy the exclusive use of the Fishery for the day, be it just 2 or 3 Rods, or perhaps 7 or 8

The Group Days are strictly limited to one per week, and they have to be booked well in advance. The system works as follows: Days are booked as available with a maximum of one per week and repetition of the same day of the week is avoided in the following week, where possible, for the benefit of Members. At the start of the Fishing Season, the Members have a list of the Group Days for the next three months, and – because they can fish at any time except Sundays – they simply fish around those Group days. The final three months of the season are arranged, and these dates are given to Members well beforehand. We have operated this system now for 2 years, and it has proven highly successful.

Group Days operate on a Catch-and-Take basis, with each Rod subject to a 4-fish Limit. Where the minimum number of 5 Rods is not required, the Limit is 20 Trout for the day.

The minimum charge for 5 Rods for the 2008 Season is £250 and any Rods over and above those 5 Rods are charged at £50 each. A 50% Deposit on booking will be required for fishermen new to Brook Farm, and all days are subject to availability and must be pre-booked. For the current 2008 Season, the first three months of the Season are fully booked, and there are currently a few days left available during the last three months up to the end of September.
