Membership Rules 2008:-

Full- and Half-Memberships are offered for both C&R and Catch-&-Remove Rods, both based upon a season-limit of fish removed.

Ideally, each Member could fish any day, or any part of any day, Monday to Saturday, during the 26- week season, 31st March to 27th September 2008, as often as they want, subject only to their pre-paid season limit of fish:-

Catch-&-Take:
Full Rod = 60 fish £880
Half Rod = 40 fish £640 Catch-&-Take Members may take any number of fish any time, subject only to their Season Limit.

C&R
Full Rod = 22 fish £680
Half Rod = 15 fish £480

C&R Members should remove their first fish on each occasion, and then subsequently may catch and release another four fish, on any given day. C&R Members wishing to fish on after releasing these 4 fish on any given day may do so by removing the next fish and then releasing another three; and continue provided a 1-to-3 ratio of fish removed / fish released is maintained.

If water temperatures should exceed 22C during the height of the Season, then different catch-&-release arrangements may be necessary.

It is very nice for Members to bring a Guest, but also nice for Members to turn up at any time and not to find the lakes crowded. Therefore the total number of Guests will, on any day, be limited to one, and will therefore need to be pre-booked. Thus, when available, a Member may bring a single Guest on any day sharing their Season Rod Limit, or alternatively a Guest may pay a Fee of £50 for a 4-fish limit, or £35 for C&R. A Guest may not fish in the place of a Member.

The Season fish-limit, as opposed to the old daily-limit, actually benefits the catch-&-remove Rods more than the C&R. They can fish for just a few hours and remove one fish, or they can remove a dozen fish on a good day; the choice is theirs. This is not a bad thing; we need to have some catch-&-remove Rods to maintain turnover of fish in the lakes.
