When using the website, you are responsible for ensuring that your account details and passwords remain confidential and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account and password. If you believe this information has become known to someone else or that your account is being misused contact us immediately.
When registering your details ensure that the information you provide us with is complete and correct and that you advise us as soon as possible should this change or you wish your details removed.
CotswoldSport reserves the right to edit or remove content, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you and you will be notified immediately.
Please Note: We are unable to add or amend orders after you press the Order Now button. However you may be able to cancel your order and start afresh if you have made a mistake or want to add to the order.
The information we seek from you when placing an order is for billing and delivery purposes or for contacting you if we have a query.
When placing an order to purchase goods from CotswoldSport, you will be sent an email confirming receipt of the order and the order details. A contract between you and CotswoldSport will only take place once the order has been accepted, processed and items despatched, in the event of the order being unable to be fulfilled any proforma PayPal payment will be immediately refunded.
All products offered for sale by CotswoldSport are priced in pounds Sterling. Any customs or import duties due when your package reaches its destination country will be your responsibility.
Occasionally, despite our best endeavours products appear mispriced, however we verify prices as part of our order confirmation email. If the correct price is lower than that promoted we will always charge you the lower amount and send you the product. If the correct price is higher, we will either contact you to advise you and request instructions before despatch or cancel the order and notify you accordingly.
We try to hold stocks of all styles for active products, however occasionally an item will be out of stock, if this is the case we will inform you. All delivery dates are estimates and are subject to availability.
We accept online payments through a PayPal and transactions are shown in pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details. No responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way. Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution. Please note that our company is not VAT registered.
Please note that shipping times are estimates provided by the UK Royal Mail. We endeavour to despatch all orders within 24 hours of payment on working days (Mon to Fri). Please note that if we do not receive payment before 9am UK time, we definitely will not despatch same day. Royal Mail only collect from us once a day, so therefore even special delivery items will be often be despatched next day, please bear this in mind when placing a priority order.
Special Order Items
All items ordered specially such as those sourced outside our usual stock, those with personalisation or custom made are non-returnable. Cancellation must be made within a week of placing the order and this MUST be done in writing via fax: 0870 2846156 and will only be available provided work has not been started on the item.
Returns & Exchange
If you find the goods unsuitable or you are not totally satisfied, providing you notify us within 8 working days from receipt of the goods and return to us unsoiled, unused and in the original packaging you will be entitled to an exchange or refund excluding the post and packing charge. Note the seal must not be broken on DVD`s if it is they cannot be returned. You will be required to arrange and pay for the return, they should be well packed and clearly labelled enclosing you returns form and sent back to:

It is your responsibility to obtain insurance as should a returned parcel become damaged or lost we do not compensate. The Royal Mail have a compensation scheme within the UK to the value of £32.00 provided proof of postage is obtained this is included at no extra charge for 1st and 2nd class mail. You will be responsible for the cost of returning cancelled or unwanted goods
Special note regarding horse rugs
You must make every effort to make sure the rug is free of horse hair and other debris. The rug must be fit for resale which requires it to be hair free and clean.
When first trying on a rug, we strongly recommend you do this in a mud free environment and with a well groomed horse. You can remove any hair left on the rug by gently using sellotape.
If you return a rug to us that is covered in horse hair and other debris we reserve the right to charge a fee for our time and cleaning materials. The minimum charge will be 10% of the value of the rug returned. This will increase if the rug requires more employee time and materials to clean.
You cannot return a damaged or modified rug.
Goods ordered from CotswoldSport for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, these will be levied once the parcel reaches it’s destination country. Any charges for customs must be paid by you, we have no control over these and do not know what they may be as customs policies vary from country to country. Contact your local customs officer for full details and regulations.
The contents of the website may not be copied, reproduced, duplicated, sold, downloaded or distributed by any means to third parties without our express written consent.You may copy or print details for the sole purpose of using the website while connected to the Internet.
You must not use the website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.
You must not use the website for fraudulent purposes, spamming or any unlawful activity.

Cotswoldsport produce our own product photos, except those belonging to manufacturers that have been cleared for general use.
If you feel you have a photo that could be of use, please email us. If it is included in the website we offer discounts to the sender.
By CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - we accept all major debit and credit cards via PayPal only. Payments over the telephone cannot be accepted.
By CHEQUE – Please allow 10 working days for you payment to clear. Cheques should be made payable to CotswoldSport Ltd.
By POSTAL ORDER– Goods paid for via postal order will be posted upon receipt of payment.
To help us to maintain our high customer service standards and assist with training staff, we occasionally listen to and record incoming telephone calls. Information you provide to CotswoldSport will be processed and used to provide products ordered, for billing and accounts, to keep records of the transaction and to send you relevant promotions.
Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of Footwear and Horse Clothing, it is regretted that we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).
We guarantee products for 12 months from date of receipt, providing they are used in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and in a manner that is considered to be for the purpose for which it was designed. If you find them unsuitable or you are not totally satisfied, providing you notify us within 8 days of receipt and return to us within 14 days unsoiled and unused in the original packaging you will be entitled to an exchange or refund. We can only accept DVD`s provided the seal is intact as supplied.
Returns & Exchange
We do not give refunds on items returned after 14 days, or damaged goods not notified to us within 14 days from receipt. Returns should be well packed and labelled clearly, you must complete and enclose your returns form. Please return via your local Post Office to: Returns Dept. Every care has been taken to ensure descriptions, measurements, colours and prices are correct, but we reserve the right to affect changes, these will be notified to you at the time of ordering.
